Jesus in the Gospel of John (13.21-38)

Jesus had troubled type emotions 21

He knew His betrayer 21

He let the disciple lean on Him 23

He was quite clear on how to identify the one who would betray Him 26

He wanted Judas to do the betrayal quickly 27

He wasn’t even understood on His clear statements 28-29

He would be glorified and glorify the Father 31-32

He told them He was leaving them 31

He told them to love each other the way He loved them 34

He told them their love would be a testimony 35

He told them they couldn’t follow Him now but they would later 36

He knew Peter would deny Him and called him out 38

Jesus in the Gospel of John (13.1-20)

Jesus know the time of His death 1

He loved the men that the Father had given Him to the very end of His life 1

He knew the Father had given Him all things 3

He knew He was going back to God 3

He served the disciples by washing their feet 4-5

He told Peter that he would understand His actions later 7

He has to wash the reluctant Peter’s feet so that they would be bound together 8

He declares Peter and the other disciples (minus Judas) completely spiritually clean 10

He knew who would betray Him 11

He asks if they understood what He had just done for them 12

He is teacher and Lord 14

He washed their feet as teacher and Lord and instructed them to do the same for others 14

He gave them an example to follow 15

He is greater then His disciples 16

He said the disciples would be blessed if they practiced this principle 17

He knew who would betray Him and the scripture to back it up 18

He told the disciples the future so they would believe He is who He says He is 19

He is received by those who receive His disciples 20

Jesus in the Gospel of John (12.27-50)

Jesus became depressed 27

He understood His purpose 27

He wanted to glorify His Father 28

He didn’t need a spoken testimony from the Father but the people did 30

He was to be lifted up (on a cross) and draw all men to Himself 32

He is the light 35-36

He ducked away again 36

He was still not believed by many 37

He was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet that the people wouldn’t believe in Him 38-41

He was believed in by the rulers but they were afraid to confess Him 42

He equated believing in Him as believing in the Father 44-45

He is the Light of the world 46

He will not judge those who don’t keep His word 47

He came to save the world 47

His word is what will judge mankind in the end 48

He spoke only what the Father told Him to speak 49-50

Jesus in the Gospel of John (10.22-42)

Jesus continue to go to the temple where His life was in danger and teach the people 23

He had not satisfied the people with plain answers 24

He feels like He had made it abundantly clear to them through word and deed 25

He says the reason they are not getting it is because they don’t believe and the reason they don’t believe is because they are not His sheep 26-27

He gives eternal life to His sheep and no one can take them away from Him 28

He was given these sheep by the Father and no one can take them away from the Father either 29

He and the Father are one 30

He was sought to be killed again 31

He always referred to His good works as His defense 32

He retorts their arguments with the scripture 33-35

He was sanctified by the Father and sent into the world 36

He is the Son of God 36

His proof for His oneness with the Father is His works 37-38

He eluded the clutches of death again 39

He left Jerusalem because is wasn’t safe (and it wasn’t His time) 40

He was believed by many 41-42
