The Wise Master Builder (Part 20)
… "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you” … (Matthew 28:18-20)
If you have read this far, you must be motivated to become a Master Builder. But the question must be asked, “What motivates us to build spiritual principles into another person’s life?” There are several answers that come to mind, some good and some bad. But a primary reason we pursue this quest is because, quite simply, Jesus commands it. A person with God’s heartbeat is ready and willing to do what their Master bids (Ac 13.22, 1 Jn 5.3). Not grudgingly or merely out of duty (although we must acknowledge we find ourselves in this state of mind at times), but we are thrilled at the prospect that the Creator of all things has allowed us the privilege to participate in His great venture-- the nurturing of souls. What an incredible mission we have been given (Mt 4.19, Ac 1.8).
